It was working in local newspapers that launched my journalism career.

Working for a leading regional newspaper involved varied daily tasks and constant deadlines that needed to be met for both print editions and news websites.

This chapter allowed me to establish and develop strong connections and productive working relationships within the community, which continue to this day.

In addition to writing news articles and features, I have produced court reports for regional and national publications.

I further honed my skills after being given the unexpected opportunity of transitioning to radio.

In addition to writing and presenting news bulletins for two sister stations I also delivered engaging interview packages on news, arts, and sports.

As an experienced journalist I continue to work within the media. I am able to step into support editorial teams .
